Instagram #1

I am addicted to Instagram. I was literally chomping at the bit waiting for it to come to Android. I couldn't have been happier.I much prefer this to twitter as I would rather look at pictures. I also find Instagram has less z list celeb conflicts.

So this is my first Instagram post. I haven't figured out a template or anything so here goes

1. Essie van d'go 2. Sunday dinner 3. NOTD 4. Mc D's brekkie 5.fruit salad 6. Neon satchel 7. Chubby stick 8. Coconut water 9. Yankee candle

Enjoy the rest of this lovely weekend x

Do you use Instagram? What do you think of my 1st post?

NOTD

Base: Opi nail envy
Polish: Opi Sparrow me the drama
Topcoat: Seche vite

I love this colour I tend to have a lot of bright pinks or pastel pinks this is somewhat different. This took 3 coats , the formulation is not the best I found it to be a bit streaky even after 2 coats. I can't vouch for drying time as I use SV.

What do you think?

MIA

I've been a bad blogger!!! Unfortunately uni deadlines have pretty much taken up the past 2 months of my life. That said I took my last exam on Thursday (fingers crossed !!) and so am now weekly free for the summer-give or take some dissertation prep and my day job. If you follow me on instagram (@mondayschild) you will have seen me posting various pics of things I've bought. I have so many reviews planned. So keep an eye out.

On a side note how pleased am I to see the sun? Hopefully its just as nice for my birthday next Saturday.

Hope you are all enjoying the weather don't forget keep hydrated & top up that suncream!!

Nails inc Bluebell

This is 1/3 of the Instyle freebie this year. In the past I didn't pay much attention to these nails inc freebies but this colour called out to me. This is a limited edition colour created for Instyle by Nails Inc. The colour is a  lovely cool lilac, I have one that is similar by Barry M but the consistency was terrible. This goes on like a dream, the first coat was practically opaque. I'm afraid I can't vouch for completel drying time as I use seche vite but after about 5ish mins it was semi dry (not that tacky stage) I estimate this could be about touch dry in about 15mins if you were doing 2 coats. If you see this I urge you to by it for £3.80 (Cost of Instyle mag) you can't go wrong! I have the other 2 and will post about them at some point.

Clinique almost liptsick in Black Honey

I just had to post about this immediately!!! Its not everyday that I buy a lipstick/gloss etc and instantly fall in love with it, I bought 3 MAC lipsticks and a gloss yesterday that I remain on the fence about, my love for this shade was instant. I first came across this via swatch girl. link and loved the subtle hint of colour.

I am unsure if this supposed to be Clinique's answer to the lipstick/gloss hybrid as some of their other lipsticks have also been quite sheer. Anyway in the bullet it is a scary colour it looks very, very, very dark brown which scares the bejesus out of a nudes and pink girl like me but once swatched it gives a berry like tint. I have very dry lips find this to be moisturising it also looks wonderful with a bit of balm over it & would imagine gloss would have the same effect. The colour is buildable which ranges from a nice my lips but better to a sheer berry. Now I know the next bit will sound crazy but applying this changed my fotd. My fotd today includes NARS sin, Famous shimmer brick in pink (applied on cheekbones), Avon glimmerstick in sugar plum and on my lips honeylove, MAC naked liner & Revlon superlustous lipgloss in nude lustre. It looked ok but once I added black honey to the equation everything just popped!

I must let you know that this does not stay on during eating and would probably give it about 1-2 hours lastability (not a word I know!) depending on what you are doing, that said it is a beautiful colour.

Black honey is avaliable now from all Clinique counters priced at £16.00 for 1.9g link

I now have my eye on spicy honey....
